New Delhi:Actress and jewellery designer Neelam Kothari was recently seen in Netflix’s show The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. She starred in some of the hit late 1980s and early 1990s Bollywood films of her career like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Ek Tha Raja, Antim Nyay, Ek Ladka Ek Ladki and others.
Apart from acting, she also has a jewellery designing business and a YouTube channel with over 20k subscribers. She gave a glimpse of her family bungalow in Lonavala, which her father bought decades ago, and which means a lot to her.

“This is my family holiday home in Lonavala,” Neelam said, providing a background of the bungalow in the video. The bungalow is called 'Le Chalet'. Furthermore, she also shared the reason why the bungalow was so important to her.
“This bungalow is very very close to my heart because my parents designed it and they have made it with so much love and warmth,” she said. S
Neelam also said that she had visited the place very long ago. “This bungalow is one of the old fashioned ones. The bungalow is close to 30 years old and needs some fixing,” Neelam said. "After many years I have returned here. It is a nice old style bungalow. "It's almost 30 years old so it needs a little tidying up."
The front door opens into the foyer, where a painting made by her mother, Parveen Kothari, hangs as she learned how to paint. Pointing to the cupboard, which has some fine engravings and designs on it. Neelam said: 'Mummy loves art and antiques and has collected a lot of furniture. She wanted to open an antique shop, and then Daddy bought this property, and all that furniture has been in this bungalow.”
The dining room has a wooden dining table and matching window panels. The walls are decorated with China plates and teapots, giving the room a warm and charming touch. “This was the place where the entire family used to come together, and we used to talk and eat a lot,” Neelam reminisced from the room.

She also revealed that she had been to the bungalow once with her friends Seema Sajdeh, Bhavana Pandey and their kids. She remembered the funny incident when Seema got frightened one night and came to her room calling herself a “fattu”. Very soon Bhavana and children, and even the maids, too, came there because they were afraid.
The room slept twelve that night, Neelam said with a laugh. We had people sleeping on the floor and on bed. It was hysterical.
The video ended with a walk through of the bungalow, looking at the damage and showing the areas that need repair.
