New Delhi:Vedang Raina may be one of Bollywood's newer faces, but his recent home tour gave fans a glimpse into a lifestyle that is already turning heads. The actor recently appeared in filmmaker Farah Khan's YouTube vlog, where viewers got a look inside the Mumbai apartment he currently calls home.
Actor Sharvari, who plays Vedang’s love interest in Imtiaz Ali’s latest love story, Main Vaapas Aaunga, also joined during the visit. The movie is playing in theatres these days and has been getting positive reviews from the critics and the audiences. The movie is set in the pre-partition era.
Inside Vedang Raina's Mumbai home
Farah Khan seemed happy with the size of the apartment and called it “huge” in the vlog.
She said that actors make a lot of money. But Vedang was quick to clarify that the property is not his.
The actor also revealed that he is presently living in a rented apartment and has not purchased a house yet.
You are impressed from the moment you enter the home.
A wooden facade surrounds the entrance and a nameplate with the name "Raina" is attached outside. A large front door opens into a spacious living area dominated by soft whites and neutrals.
The overall appearance is neat and uncluttered. But not thin.
To the left of the entrance is a nice reading corner. There is comfortable seating, a floor lamp and a bookshelf full of colourful titles with their spines facing outwards. The space flows into the living room without feeling like a separate zone.
The main living space features cream sofas and a statement carpet that injects colour without overwhelming the space.
Across from it is a black counter, where a collection of cocktail mixers immediately draws the eye.
Facing the entrance, there is a big wall with a chest and two indoor plants. Small details, but they help to break up the neutral palette and add a little warmth.
Then the layout opens up to the rest of the home.
The passages on either side lead to the dining area, the kitchen and the bedrooms. There is a wooden dining table in the middle of the dining area, and the doors and other pieces of furniture have similar shades of brown throughout the apartment.
It creates a home that feels polished without trying too hard.
