India's Miss World 2026 journey ended with Nikita Porwal finishing among the Top 40. She could not make it to the Top 20 at the grand finale in Vietnam. The Femina Miss India World 2024 winner could not advance to the Top 20 at the grand finale being held in Vietnam.
For the unversed, Nikita had represented India at the 73rd edition of the international pageant and managed to reach the Top 40. However, her journey ended before the Top 20 finalists were announced.

The Miss India Organization took to Instagram on Saturday evening to share an update, confirming her place in the competition. The Miss India Organization wrote in an Instagram post, “@nikitaporwal_ ends her 73rd Miss World journey in Top 40 continuing India’s remarkable streak of placing at eight consecutive editions of Miss World.
The organization also congratulated Nikita on her journey at global pageant. The post further read, “Nikita, you carried India with grace, conviction and heart on one of the world’s biggest stages. Who is Nikita Porwal ?
In case you didn’t know, Nikita Porwal is a native of Madhya Pradesh, who shot to fame after winning the Femina Miss India World title in 2024. She did her graduation from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda before entering into the beauty pageant world.
Nikita started her career as a TV anchor and then she dabbled into theater. She is also very keen on films and wants to work with great directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
